World Cup TV Licence warning

The Federation of Small Businesses has warned employers that they need to check where they stand with their TV Licence before they let their staff watch England matches during this year’s World Cup.

Most people will be aware that a separate TV Licence is required for the business premises where the matches are being watched. Something that could catch businesses out is that a licence is required if games are being streamed online and viewed on computers or 3G enabled phones.

Since supporting England in any major competition is already a pretty stressful affair we recommend that you go and check the TV Licencing situation out to reduce the tension just a little bit.
