New advertising campaign heralds the launch of Workplace pensions. Taking it more seriously now?
This week has seen the launch of a £3.5m TV advertising campaign, featuring heavy hitters like Theo Paphitis, designed to promote business and consumer awareness of the governments auto-enrolment workplace pension scheme.
We are delighted that greater effort has gone into raising the profile of this topic because, as we have discussed in our “Qualifying Workplace Pension Scheme” overview, it has the potential to cause major problems for businesses who fail to prepare.
Small businesses, in particular, will need to deal with administrative overhead and, more importantly, the cash flow issues that could spring from making employer contributions.
